ABOUT

Lion’s Den ING Risk Modelling Challenge is a 2-days event in English for students and graduates, organised by ING Bank Śląski and ING Hubs Poland. Its aim is to familiarise people passionate about data analysis with modern techniques and statistical methods that are used in modern banking.

This year, we're gearing up for our 6th edition and the main task will focus on Residential Real Estate Pricing Model Design.

When and where?

The event will take place on 2-3 April 2024 in Warsaw. Registration lasts by 24 February.

Who is invited?

We're looking for the bright eyed and bushy tailed to help us navigate the frontier of the future in risk modelling. Join us if:

you have 2, 3 friends to create a team of 3 or 4
you’re a student, or a graduate, and you’re not older than 27 (yearly) on the date of registration for the competition
you have experience in building statistical models and data analysis

What’s the task?

The participants have to solve a task prepared by ING experts and present the results to the jury.

This year’s main task will focus on Residential Real Estate Pricing Model Design! Why is it worth taking up the challenge?

HOW IT WORKS

Ready to channel your inner lion? Great! Here’s how Lion’s Den works:

Get a team of 3 or 4.
Choose a team name.
Sign up>> for the event individually, filling the registration form (each team member has to sign up).
After registering, wait for a pre-selection assignment to qualify for the main event. We’ll send you the task right after the registration is closed from the address: lionsden@ing.com.
Solve the task as a team, according to the instructions given in the e-mail, and send back the results.
Once we check your work, we'll let you know if you've gotten through to the second, live round!

DAY 1

You'll start off the day with an inspiring keynote presentation from top experts in pricing model design, followed by the main part – introduction to the task. After the workshop, you'll have time until midnight to complete your challenge submissions. Our mentors will support you through the whole event.
